Education is the basic element of an evolved community. Is the fundamental stone of education and culture.

In a community of knowledge and in an era where the critique in not favored, the need for active civilians who will be able to conceive the important obstacles of our days and mostly they will aim to their resolution, is essential.

We are called first of all, to form civilians with strong ego, criticism, dialectic ability and participative attitude in the common life. It’s our debt to invest in the Education of the new generation, because in this way we invest in the future.

This is served in the best way with the 1st International Street Theatre Festival as a pioneering institution that supports the realization of innovative programs focusing in the spherical psychosomatic growth and at the same time it encourages the artistic creation.

Through this kind of initiatives the new generation has the ability to express its self freely and to present its abilities and talent in a very important art form such as Theatre, strengthening our efforts to consolidate cultural zones in the educational system and to create the school of the 21st century.  Schools which will shape complete personalities that will cultivate the mind and soul of students and will bring them in direct contact with Arts and Culture. This is the main aim of State and for that reason we are working with all of our forces.

The 1st International Street Theatre Festival which is under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Youth serves our objective for the ministration of an education in the complete sense, an education that is combined with the artistic expression and the culture.

The education of students must not be limited in books. I strongly believe that in this direction art can give many and important supplies, not only in the educational and in pedagogic process but also in the daily life of all citizens and in particular to the new generation.

After these thoughts, I wish every success in this important event of youth of our country.
