Child in Time
In the 1st International Street Theatre Festival in Athens, Christian will present his new creation elaborating on the relationship that game creates among children and adults. This gap will be bridged through an imaginary environment that is created within the eyes of a child and transmitted ιn the adult world that ιs characterized with a more constructed mindset. A character looks back in his childhood and travels in time to give life in his old toys and to create a new dimension. A miniature circus with animals and non animals, where drawing pads reveal new forms, small cars risk their life in the death rounds and mechanical trains travel in three dimensional drawings. A strange circus where the lifeless gains life through the ring master or toy maker who is the motive power and prime mover.
