INVISIBLE CITIES

Plefsis creates in 2005 a new show inspired by Italo Calvino’s book “Invisible Cities”. In an imaginary space, six tall poles are installed. These, the actors use to search, discover, and create moments of life that may be fantastically lived in. Modern cities, watery cities, mechanical cities emerge one after the other. This production is a commentary on the modern city and its purpose is to reveal the deeper human aspect that resides in it. It is a show of mime, acrobatics that tells a story with humor.
